Prescription Medicine

Closight GM Cream is used to reduce swelling, itching and redness caused by bacterial and fungal skin infections. It blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers), which makes the skin red, swollen and itchy. Also, it kills fungi and inhibits the growth of bacteria. It may cause side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Closight GM Cream may interact with anticoagulants (warfarin, dicumarol), antidiabetic drugs (metformin), antibiotics (bacitracin, polymyxin b), and water pills (furosemide).

Drug-Food Interaction: Closight GM Cream may interact with grapefruit and grapefruit juice. Thus, avoid intake of grapefruit juice while using Closight GM Cream as it may lead to adverse effects.
