Formic O 100 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, sinuses (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia), and urinary system (cystitis and kidney infections). It kills infection-causing bacteria and supports the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestine, maintaining a healthy balance of microflora in the gut environment. It may cause common side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, gas, and heartburn. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Formic O 100 Tablet may interact with certain vaccines (cholera live vaccine, and the typhoid vaccine), diuretic medications (furosemide), anticonvulsant medications (carbamazepine) and anticoagulants ( Warfarin).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid alcohol intake with Formic O 100 Tablet , as it may lead to drowsiness and affect its absorption.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Inform your doctor if you have kidney/liver problems, colitis (inflammation of the inner lining of the colon), or seizure disorders.
