. Isosorbide dinitrate dilates (widens) blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them and easier for the heart to pump.

. You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to it.
. Do not use this medicine if you are taking medicine to treat erectile dysfunction(sexual dysfunction) or pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
. Tell your doctor if you have:
- lupus
- low blood pressure
