Due to regular exercise and dieting, my skin has become pale and has lost its glow. Even though I take proper nutrients daily, there has been no improvement. What could be the reason, and what can I do to regain healthy and glowing skin?
Pale and dull skin during regular exercise and dieting can occur for several reasons. Sometimes, strict dieting may lead to deficiencies of important nutrients such as iron, vitamin B12, vitamin D, protein, or healthy fats, even if you are eating regularly. Excessive exercise, dehydration, poor sleep, stress, or sudden weight loss may also affect skin health, making it look tired and less radiant. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, eggs, pulses, and other protein-rich foods. Drink plenty of water throughout the day and avoid skipping meals. Healthy fats from foods such as almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds, and fish are important for maintaining skin glow. Getting adequate sleep and reducing stress are equally important. If the paleness persists, it is advisable to have blood tests to check for anaemia, vitamin deficiencies, or thyroid problems. Using a mild moisturiser and sunscreen daily may also help improve skin appearance. Please consult a doctor or dermatologist if the problem persists despite lifestyle improvements.
