I have a ringworm infection and I am currently using Lulibrut cream and Terbest 250 tablets. Are these the correct medicines for my condition?
Ringworm is a fungal skin infection, and it usually needs both good local treatment and, in some cases, oral antifungal medicines, depending on how widespread or stubborn it is. Lulibrut cream contains luliconazole, which is commonly used for treating ringworm on the skin and is generally effective when applied regularly over clean, dry skin and continued for the full recommended duration, even after the patch improves. Terbest 250 is terbinafine, an oral antifungal tablet, and it is often prescribed when the infection is extensive, recurrent, or not responding well to creams alone. So in general, this combination is used in practice for moderate to severe or persistent fungal infections, but whether it is the right treatment for you depends on how long you have had the infection, how much area is affected, and whether there is recurrence. Medicines/treatment should be taken only if advised or prescribed by your doctor, especially oral antifungal tablets, since they may need monitoring in some people. Also, keeping the skin dry, avoiding tight clothing, not sharing towels, and continuing treatment for the full course are very important; otherwise, ringworm can come back even after initial improvement.
