I have a ringworm infection and I am currently using Lulibrut cream and Terbest 250 tablets. Are these the correct medicines for my condition?

Ringworm is a common contagious fungal infection of the skin that causes a red, ring-shaped rash.
Ringworm is caused by fungi that affect the skin, creating a characteristic ring-like rash that may be itchy or scaly. It can spread through direct contact or contaminated surfaces.
Lulibrut Cream is an antifungal topical treatment suitable for ringworm. It kills fungi by disrupting their cell membranes. Common side effects include redness, swelling, irritation, or a burning sensation at the application site. These usually resolve without needing medical attention but consult a doctor if they worsen or persist.
Terbest 250 tablets contain terbinafine, an oral antifungal effective against ringworm infections, especially when topical treatment alone is insufficient. Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal upset, headache, or rash. If you notice unusual symptoms such as jaundice, severe rash, or persistent stomach pain, seek medical advice promptly.
Both Lulibrut cream and Terbest tablets are appropriate for managing ringworm under a doctor’s guidance. Continue using these medicines as prescribed and avoid stopping them abruptly to prevent recurrence. If symptoms worsen, persist beyond the treatment period, or if you experience signs of allergic reactions like swelling or difficulty breathing, consult a dermatologist promptly.
For comprehensive care and monitoring, please follow up with a dermatologist.
