MATERNA HCG 5000IU INJECTION is used in:
- anavulatory infertility(ovulation does not take place in women).
- prepubertal cryptorchidism(A testicle that hasn't moved into the bag of skin below the penis before birth).

Side Effects :

. pain at site of injection
. headache
. irritability
. restlessness
. depression
. fatigue
. oedema
. precocious puberty(a condition in which a child's body begins changing into that of an adult too soon)
. gynecomastia(Swollen male breast tissue caused by a hormone imbalance)
. skin rashes urticarial(A skin rash triggered by a reaction to food, medicine or other irritants)

MATERNA HCG 5000IU INJECTION is given by subcutaneously(under skin) or intramuscularly(into muscle).

MATERNA HCG 5000IU INJECTION works by stimulating the production of androgens(male hormones) in male and progesterone(female hormones) in female.

Caution is advised in patient with:
- cardiac disease
- epilepsy
- migraine
- asthma

Store between 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze and protect from light.
