About Balila Tablet 10's

Balila Tablet 10's belongs to the group of medicines called thiazides used to treat low blood sugar. A low sugar level in the blood is caused by an increase in the amount of the hormone insulin being produced by the pancreas.

Balila Tablet 10's contains Diazoxide, which works by preventing insulin release from the pancreas, helping to return the blood sugar to normal levels.

In some cases, Balila Tablet 10's may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, lack of appetite, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

The detailed uses of Balila Tablet 10's are as follows:<br/>• Treatment of Hypoglycemia: Balila Tablet 10's is used to treat hypoglycemia by increasing blood sugar levels in adults and children with conditions like inoperable islet cell tumors or extrapancreatic malignancy in adults, and leucine sensitivity, islet cell hyperplasia, or nesidioblastosis in infants and children.<br/>• Preoperatively treatment: Balila Tablet 10's may be used preoperatively as a temporary measure to manage hypoglycemia before surgery.<br/>• Postoperative treatment: Balila Tablet 10's is also used postoperatively if hypoglycemia persists after surgery, helping to stabilize blood sugar levels.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Balila Tablet 10's can be taken with or without food, or as directed by your doctor. • Balila Tablet 10's is typically taken every 8 to 12 hours at the same time each day, or as prescribed by your doctor.• Shake the bottle well before each use. • Measure the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided with the pack and administer it orally.• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.
