Mahacef-100mg Suspension 15gm/30ml is a cephalosporin-type antibiotic primarily taken to treat various types of bacterial infections of the ears, lungs, and urinary tract. Additionally, it is also prescribed to treat STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases). Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in your body. These harmful bacteria produce chemicals known as toxins, which can damage tissue and make you sick.
Mahacef-100mg Suspension 15gm/30ml kills the bacterial cell by blocking the chemical (mucopeptides) released by the outer layer (cell wall) of the bacteria. In turn, Mahacef-100mg Suspension 15gm/30ml weakens and destroys the bacterial cell wall. It is a broad range of antibiotic that helps in fighting various types of bacteria. Mahacef-100mg Suspension 15gm/30ml will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections
Mahacef-100mg Suspension 15gm/30ml should be taken as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with a meal to avoid stomach upset and at fixed intervals every day for best results. Tell your doctor if you have liver problems (jaundice), muscle problem (myasthenia gravis), heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia), electrolyte imbalance (low potassium or magnesium level). In rare case, use of Mahacef-100mg Suspension 15gm/30ml can cause diarrhoea, so in case if you have watery or bloody diarrhoea, stop taking Mahacef-100mg Suspension 15gm/30ml and call your doctor.
