About Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s

Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s belongs to a combination medicine of anticonvulsant (Gabapentin) and antidepressant (Nortriptyline) used for the management of neuropathic pain. It is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain.

Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s contains Gabapentin and Nortriptyline. Gabapentin works by binding to the specific site on voltage-gated calcium channels; this helps in relieving nerve pain and lowers the risk of seizures. Nortriptyline works by preventing the released chemical messenger in the brain (serotonin and noradrenaline) from being reabsorbed back into the nerve cells (neuron) in the brain. As a result, it prolongs the effect of serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain, and over time, this helps to relieve depression and lighten the mood.

Take Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s with or without food. Swallow Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or break the tablet. You are advised to take Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, dry mouth, and tingling sensations. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Please do not stop taking Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s without consulting your doctor as it could cause withdrawal symptoms. Do not take Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s causes drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s should not be given to children unless prescribed. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Nurona-Nt Tablet 10s as it could lead to increased dizziness and sleepiness.
