About Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm

Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm belongs to a class of drugs called 'antifungal' primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin like ringworm, jock itch, athlete’s foot, seborrheic dermatitis (dry, flaky skin on the face, scalp, chest, upper back or ears) and pityriasis (a type of skin rash that causes scaly, discoloured patches on chest, back, legs and arms).

Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi and yeast. Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm is available in both topical and oral dosage forms. The topical form of Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm can be taken on the finger and applied as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area. Avoid contact of Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.

Common side effects nausea, headache, diarrhoea, stomach pain and abnormal liver function test results. Some people using a topical form of Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm may experience dry skin, itching, redness or burning sensation of the skin. Most of these side effects of Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Directions for Use

Topically (cream/gel): Wash and dry the infected area of skin. Take a small amount of Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm on the finger and gently rub on the clean and dry affected area and surrounding skin. Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm is only for external use. Avoid contact of Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm if hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.Shampoo: Use Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm in shampoo form as prescribed by your doctor only. Wash your hair with Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes. Then, rinse thoroughly.Orally: If you are prescribed Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm in oral form, swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Take Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm with food to avoid stomach upset. Do not break, crush or chew it.

Ph-Bar 2%W/W 75gm could make your skin sensitive to the sunlight and cause sunburn more quickly, so try to avoid direct exposure to the sunlight. Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) whenever go outdoors.
