About Sitaxa GM IR 50 mg/1000 mg/1 mg Tablet

Sitaxa GM IR 50 mg/1000 mg/1 mg Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine used to treat type II diabetes. Type II Diabetes Mellitus is a serious condition wherein the body doesn’t use insulin effectively, which causes unusual blood glucose levels.

Sitaxa GM IR 50 mg/1000 mg/1 mg Tablet contains Metformin (biguanides), which works by reducing the sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestine; Sitagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor), which works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high and Glimepiride (sulfonylureas) works by stimulating beta cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. Thus, insulin helps to remove sugar from the blood.
