Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to the class of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Bacterial eye infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade any part of the eye, such as the eyeball, conjunctiva, or cornea.

Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus, Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml treats bacterial eye infections.

Use Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. The detailed uses of Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml are as follows:<br/>• Bacterial eye infections: Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml is used to treat external infections of the eye caused by susceptible bacteria.<br/>• Corneal Ulcers: Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml is used in combination with other antibiotics to treat corneal ulcers, especially those caused by bacterial infections.<br/>• Eye Injuries or Foreign Body Removal: Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml is used to prevent infection in case of eye injury or after removal of foreign body from the eye.<br/>

Directions for Use

  • Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
  • Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
  • Tobrasol Eye Drops 5 ml is for ophthalmic use only. Not for injection.
  • Do not touch the dropper tip or other dispensing tip to any surface since this may contaminate solution.
