About Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml

Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml is used to treat cough associated with mucus. Coughing (dry or productive) is the body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus, or smoke) from airways and preventing infection. There are two types of coughs: Dry cough and chesty cough. A dry cough is tickly and doesn't produce any vicious or thick mucus, while a chesty cough (wet cough) means mucous or sputum is produced to help clear your airways.

Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml contains Ambroxol (a mucolytic agent), Desloratadine (an antihistamine), and Guaifenesin (an expectorant). Ambroxol works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Guaifenesin increases the volume of fluid in the airways, reduces the stickiness of mucus, and helps to remove it from the airways. Desloratadine works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. 

Take Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml as prescribed. You are advised to take Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml may cause side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, and stomach upset. Most of these side effects of Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Directions for Use

• Take Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml with or without food as advised by your doctor.• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, or use it as per the labelled instructions.• Shake the bottle well before each use.• Measure the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided with the pack and administer it orally.• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Torex-AP New Syrup 60 ml may include Convulsions (seizures), fast breathing, hallucinations, increase in blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath or troubled breathing, unusual nervousness, restlessness, or excitement. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience these symptoms right away.
