Carica papaya contains flavonoids, glycosides, alkaloids, glutathione, and glucosinolates, which stimulate bone marrow and boost platelet count. As a result, it aids in the recovery from dengue. It may also be useful in treating thrombocytopenia (low blood platelet count)-related disorders such as dengue, malaria, viral infections, and various bacterial infections.
