Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER is used in the treatment of several bacterial infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, skin, ears, nose, and gynaecological infections. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection.

Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER contains Faropenem, an antibiotic that kills bacteria (bactericidal) by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival.

In some cases, you may experience nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, and rash. Most of these side effects of Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. • Bacterial infections: Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER is generally prescribed for bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial growth and killing bacteria, helping the body fight infections like pneumonia and urinary tract infections.
• Respiratory infections: Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER helps to treat respiratory infections like pneumonia and bronchitis by targeting the causative bacteria.
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs): Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER involved in managing UTIs by targeting and eliminating the bacteria causing the infection, relieving symptoms like burning sensation and frequent urination.
• Skin and soft tissue infections: Xpectra 300mg ER Tablet ER helps in skin and soft tissue infections like cellulitis by killing the bacteria causing the infection, reducing swelling, redness, and pain.
