About BIOSEV 400MG TABLET

BIOSEV 400MG TABLET belongs to a group of medications called 'phosphate binder' (which decrease the level of phosphate in the body). It is primarily used to control high phosphate level in the body (hyperphosphataemia) in adult patients on dialysis (a blood clearance technique), patients undergoing hemodialysis (using a blood filtration machine), and patients with chronic kidney disease. It is also used for the treatment of bone disease.

BIOSEV 400MG TABLET contains 'sevelamer' that works by binding phosphate in the gastrointestinal tract and decreasing absorption. It effectively reduces excess phosphate levels in the blood and prevents the unsafe build-up of phosphate in your body, helps to keep your bones strong, and decreases the risk of heart disease and strokes.

BIOSEV 400MG TABLET can be taken with a meal with a full glass of water. Do not chew, bite, or break the tablet. The doctor will suggest the right way of taking medicines after checking the dosing form. A person taking BIOSEV 400MG TABLET often experience side effects that include vomiting, upper abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach ache, indigestion, flatulence. Directions for Use

Swallow the tablet with a glass of water as a whole. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet. BIOSEV 400MG TABLET can be taken with food at the same time daily for best results. Take BIOSEV 400MG TABLET exactly as prescribed by your doctor. BIOSEV 400MG TABLET should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Your doctor will advise for how long you need to take BIOSEV 400MG TABLET based on your medical condition.
