About Fered Tablet 10's

Fered Tablet 10's belongs to the group of anti-anaemic medicines used to treat iron deficiency anaemia (anaemia caused by too little iron in the body). Fered Tablet 10's does not cause teeth discolouration and is less likely to cause stomach upset than other iron-containing medicines. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen to various body tissues.

Fered Tablet 10's contains ‘Sodium Feredetate’, which acts as a source of iron and helps in the transportation of oxygen throughout the body and production of red blood cells. Thereby, Fered Tablet 10's helps in treating anaemia.

Take Fered Tablet 10's on an empty stomach. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack; shake the bottle well before each use. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, mild diarrhoea, flatulence, and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Let your doctor know if you are using prescription/non-prescription drugs, and herbal products before starting Fered Tablet 10's. If you are known to be allergic to Fered Tablet 10's or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. Consult a doctor before taking Fered Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Fered Tablet 10's should be given to children only if prescribed by a doctor. It is unknown if alcohol interacts with Fered Tablet 10's, so please consult a doctor.
