The Similac Follow Up Formula Stage 2 Powder is designed for infants older six months of age and is part of a balanced diet during and post-weaning. This scientifically formulated, cow’s milk-based feeding formula meets the nutritional needs your baby requires for healthy growth and optimal development. Similac Stage 2 is enhanced with a blend of neuro-nutrients such as omega 3 & 6 fatty acids, choline, iron, and zinc, all crucial for your baby's brain and eye development. It also includes a palm olein oil-free fat blend that encourages better calcium and fatty acid absorption. Similac 2 is gentle on your little one’s digestive system and facilitates softer stools. The added antioxidants like vitamins A, C, E and zinc support the developing immune system. Formulated as per Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Similac Stage 2 supports not only your baby's brain development but also their bone growth and overall health.

Formula Milk

Directions for Use

  • Thoroughly wash feeding bottle or bowl, nipple, cap, measuring cup and all utensils to be used in preparing the feeding.
  • After rinsing soap from the utensils, boil them for 5 minutes.
  • In a separate pan, heat water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and allow it to cool to lukewarm.
  • Pour the correct amount of warm previously boiled water into the sterilised feeding bottle or bowl.
  • Fill enclosed scoop, then scrape level with the straight edge of the knife.
  • Add one level enclosed scoop (approximately 5.1g) of Similac 2 powder to each 30 ml of water in the bottle or bowl.
  • Mix until completely dissolved.
  • Test temperature and feed. After feeding, discard any unused formula within
    1 hour.

Safety Information

Use as directed by your baby's physician. Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing follow-up formula. Failure to follow these instructions can potentially lead to adverse effects on the health of your baby. Powdered follow-up formula are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's physician. Use water that has previously been boiled at a full rolling boil for 5 minutes. Allow the water to cool to lukewarm and follow mixing instructions carefully. Use only the scoop enclosed in this box to measure Similac 2 powder. Once feeding begins, use within one hour or discard. This box contains a sealed foil pouch. Once foil pouch has been opened, contents should be used within 2 weeks. Please do not empty the content of foil into the container and continue to use powder from foil pouch. Transfer the pouch into another clean air-tight container and store in a cool, dry & hygienic place (Do not refrigerate). For extra precaution, fold the foil pouch after every use to avoid powder exposure to environment. Careful and hygienic preparation of Infant food/Infant milk substitute is most essential for health. Never use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula, it may result in serious burns. Infant food/Infant milk substitute is not the sole source of nourishment of an infant. Do not use fewer scoops than directed since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrients needed by your infant. Also do not use more scoops than directed since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant. Infant food shall be introduced after the age of 6 months and up to the age of 2 years. Infant food/Infant milk substitute should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use.
