About Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm

Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm belongs to the class of dermatological medication called topical antifungal primarily used in the treatment of fungal or yeast infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot (affects toes), jock itch (affects the groin area), candidiasis (affects vagina), fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails (an infection that may cause nail discolouration, splitting and pain) and ringworm (affects skin or the scalp) ­­­­. Athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm are fungal infections closely related to each other, whereas candidiasis is a yeast infection caused by Candida albicans. These infections are usually seen in people with a weak immune system. They can spread by skin-to-skin contact.

Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm contains ‘ciclopirox’ that works by inhibiting the growth of fungus and reduce the infection. It causes membrane instability by accumulating inside fungal cells and interfering with protein transport across the fungal cell membrane. Thereby, clears fungal infection and provides relief from cracking, burning, scaling and itching of the skin caused due to infections.

Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm is only for external use. Use or Apply Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm for as long as prescribed for you depending on your medical condition. Avoid contact of Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience itching, irritation or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm. Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm is not recommended to children below 10 years of age. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm catches fire and burns easily. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, HIV, or AIDS, or undergoing chemotherapy, and seizures.

Uses of Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm

Fungal Skin Infections

Directions for Use

Topically (cream/gel/ lotion): Wash and dry the infected area of skin. Take a small amount of Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm on the finger and gently rub on the clean and dry affected area and surrounding skin. Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm is only for external use. Avoid contact of Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm if hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection. In the case of lotion, apply Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm to the top, sole, and sides of the foot and in between each toe and allow it to dry for 1 to 2 minutes.Shampoo: Use Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm in shampoo form as prescribed by your doctor only. Wash your hair with Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes. Then, rinse thoroughly.Nail lacquer: Apply Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm to all affected nails with the applicator brush provided. Allow the lacquer to dry (approximately 30 seconds) before putting on socks or stockings. After applying Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm, wait 8 hours before taking a bath or shower.

Do not share your nail-filer to prevent the spread of infection. Do not use more than what is recommended to relieve your symptoms faster and do not cover the area being treated with Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm with a bandage, as this may increase absorption of this medicine and increase the side effects. Synpirox 10mg Cream 30gm should be used with caution in people with a weakened immune system due to chronic conditions such as HIV or AIDS and people who are receiving chemotherapy, diabetes, a condition for which you use steroid medication (including skin conditions or breathing disorders).
