I have been experiencing severe panic, restlessness, chest pain, palpitations, muscle and neck stiffness, headaches, insomnia, fatigue, and numbness for almost two years. All my diagnostic tests (CT scan, brain MRI, EEG, ECG, and blood tests) are completely normal. I have been taking Trioptal 300 mg, Frisium 10 mg, Depran L, and Betacap 40 TR, but there is no improvement in my symptoms. What could be my exact diagnosis, and do I need to change my medications?

Given your completely normal test results and long-standing symptoms, your condition is highly suggestive of severe Panic Disorder or Generalized Anxiety Disorder with somatic symptoms. Your current regimen contains multiple benzodiazepines (Frisium and clonazepam in Depran L), which can cause tolerance or rebound anxiety over time. Since your symptoms haven't improved in two years, a medication change is definitely warranted. You should consult a psychiatrist to safely taper off redundant medications, adjust your antidepressant, and consider Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Please do not stop or change your doses abruptly without medical supervision.
