ZOLEPHOS 5MG INJECTION 100ML is used to treat post-menopausal women and adult men with osteoporosis or osteoporosis caused by treatment with corticosteroids used to treat inflammation, and Paget’s disease of the bone in adults.

ZOLEPHOS 5MG INJECTION 100ML is injected into a vein through an IV. A healthcare provider will give you this injection.

ZOLEPHOS 5MG INJECTION 100ML works by slowing bone breakdown, increasing bone density (thickness), and decreasing the amount of calcium released from the bones into the blood.

. You should not used this medicine if you are allergic to it or if you have low levels of calcium in your blood.
. Tell your doctor if you have ever had:
- thyroid or parathyroid surgery
- surgery to remove part of your intestine
- asthma caused by taking aspirin
- any condition that makes it hard for your body to absorb nutrients from food
- a dental problem
