It is advised not to keep taking painkillers for too long as they can have serious side effects that you might not even notice. One of the biggest risks is internal stomach bleeding, which can happen without warning. Moreover, taking them for too many days can affect your kidneys. If your doctor prescribed the painkillers, make sure you’re following the instructions. But if you’re taking them on your own, remember that painkillers only give temporary relief and they don’t fix the actual problem. Tooth pain usually happens because of things like deep cavities or gum issues, which need proper treatment.
Painkillers, especially NSAIDs like Ketorol DT, shouldn’t be taken for more than five days in a row without a doctor’s advice. Always use the lowest dose for the shortest time possible, and don’t increase how often you take them. Further, see a dentist promptly to understand the underlying cause of the problem and get it treated properly.
