Cibna Tablet is used to increase low levels of calcium in the body. Hence it is not advised to use Cibna Tablet during hypercalcemia since it causes the overdose of calcium leading to kidney stones and other effects.
Vitamin D forms may lead to calcium deposition in patients undergoing dialysis. Hence Cibna Tablet should be used cautiously and only if advised by the doctor. It is advised to follow a low phosphate diet to control serum phosphorus levels in dialysis patients.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of Calcium and Vitamin D3. Hence, taking Cibna Tablet two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.
