Doxycycline prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which are necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thus, it kills the bacteria. It is recommended to complete the course of Doxycheck-LBX Capsule even if you feel better, as it is an antibiotic. Leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will, in fact, stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance).

Avoid taking iron supplements, calcium supplements, multivitamins, laxatives or antacids along with Doxycheck-LBX Capsule. Maintain a gap of two hours between Doxycheck-LBX Capsule and other medicines. However, consult your doctor before taking Doxycheck-LBX Capsule with other medicines.

Doxycheck-LBX Capsule contains doxycycline, which might make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen whilst going outside.

You should avoid drinking milk while taking Doxycheck-LBX Capsule, as it can reduce the absorption of the medicine. However, contact a doctor if you have any concerns.

Store in a cool and dry place as advised on the label. Protect from light. Keep it out of reach from children.

You are recommended to wait at least 2 hours after taking Doxycheck-LBX Capsule before eating, as consuming food may reduce its absorption. Therefore, take it as advised by your doctor.

Doxycheck-LBX Capsule causes side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects will reduce over time and do not require any medical attention. Contact a doctor if these side effects continues for longer.
