Jonac Suppositories Substitute

Jonac Suppositories belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) used to relieve pain, ease inflammation and reduce swelling in conditions affecting the joints, tendons and muscles such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout, ankylosing spondylitis, backache, sprains, strains, soft tissue sports injuries, frozen shoulder, dislocations, fractures, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis. It is also used to treat pain and inflammation associated with dental and minor surgery. Additionally, diclofenac is used to treat juvenile chronic arthritis in children aged 1 to 12 years and post-operative pain in children above 6 years. Jonac Suppositories contains Diclofenac, which works by blocking the effect of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. This inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and thereby relieves pain and inflammation.
