Lifas Kit Tablet is used to treat vaginal infections, such as bacterial vaginosis (BV), candidiasis, trichomoniasis, and mixed infections with chlamydia and Neisseria. It comprises three medicines: Azithromycin, Fluconazole, and Secnidazole. Azithromycin is an antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which further inhibits bacterial growth. Fluconazole is an antifungal drug that stops fungal growth by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Secnidazole is an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of infection-causing bacteria. It effectively treats vaginal infections (bacterial vaginosis).

Lifas Kit Tablet should be used with proper caution and doctor consultation if you have any liver, kidney, gastrointestinal diseases (diarrhoea and colitis, an inflammation of the colon), active infections, allergic conditions, ulcers or blisters, and urination problems.

Do not stop using Lifas Kit Tablet even if you feel better until the doctor's advised course is finished. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.

It is not advised to take any antacids containing magnesium or aluminium for up to two hours after using Lifas Kit Tablet since it may interfere with the absorption of Lifas Kit Tablet.

Keep Lifas Kit Tablet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Dispose of unused medicine and keep it out of sight and reach from children and pets.

Take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.

The common side effects of Lifas Kit Tablet include taste changes, vomiting, headache, dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, diarrhoea, and loss of appetite.
