Medicinal Benefits:
Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm is used to lubricate dry eyes, providing relief from discomfort, irritation, and dryness. It acts as artificial tears, helping to moisturise and soothe the eyes.
Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm works by forming a lubricating, transparent and moistening film on the cornea (surface of the eye). Thereby, it provides a soothing effect and relieves irritation and dryness caused by decreased tear flow.
You are recommended to maintain a time gap of 5 to 15 minutes between using Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm and other eye medications. However, please consult a doctor before using Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm with other medicines.
Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
You are recommended to avoid wearing contact lenses while using Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm, as it contains a preservative that can change the colour of the contact lens. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before applying Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm and reinsert after 15 minutes of using Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensations in the eye after using Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm.
The common side effects of Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm may include blurred vision, redness of the eye, or eye irritation. Most of these side effects of Lubriwet Eye Gel 5 gm do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time.
