Melalite 15 Cream Substitute

Melalite 15 Cream is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hyperpigmentation and melasma (a type of skin problem).

Melalite 15 Cream contains Hydroquinone, Octinoxate and Oxybenzone. Hydroquinone is a skin-lightening agent that works by decreasing the amount of melanin (a skin pigment) responsible for the skin's darkening. Octinoxate and Oxybenzone absorb UV (ultraviolet) rays from the sun and protect the skin from sun damage. Together, Melalite 15 Cream lightens dark spots on the skin and protects from the harmful effects of UV rays.

Melalite 15 Cream may cause skin irritation, burning sensation or itching at the site of application. However, if the irritation persists or worsens, stop using Melalite 15 Cream and consult a doctor.

Melalite 15 Cream may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight in the treated areas. Therefore, avoid or limit exposure to sunlight and sunlamps. You are advised to use sunscreen and wear protective clothing while going out to prevent sunburn.

You are not recommended to use Melalite 15 Cream on open wounds as it may worsen the condition. Please consult a doctor before using Melalite 15 Cream.
