Citicoline repairs the neuronal membrane by increasing the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine. It also repairs the damaged cholinergic neurons by potentiating acetylcholine production and reducing the build-up of free fatty acids at the site of stroke-induced nerve damage. Piracetam protects the brain and nervous system against oxygen deprivation. Neocit-Plus Tablet contains Citicoline and Piracetam. Neocit-Plus Tablet contains piracetam, which may cause hallucinations in some cases. So, if you experience hallucinations while taking Neocit-Plus Tablet , please talk to your doctor immediately.

Please consult your doctor before taking Neocit-Plus Tablet if you have hypertension (high blood pressure), as Neocit-Plus Tablet contains citicoline, which might cause low blood pressure. Intake of Neocit-Plus Tablet , along with anti-hypertensive medications, may decrease blood pressure to lower than normal levels. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is advised to avoid unpleasant events.

Maintain a proper weight by eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Avoid deep-fried food, fast food, processed food and sugary foods/drinks.

Consult the doctor before taking anti-Parkinson medicines (levodopa, carbidopa, entacapone), nootropic drugs (centrophenoxine), anti-coagulants (acenocoumarol), anti-epileptic drugs (carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbitone, valproate), or thyroid medicines.
