Nodosis Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called alkalinising agents used to correct the acid-alkaline balance in the body. Nodosis Tablet is used to treat acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and stomach upset. Nodosis Tablet can also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions. Nodosis Tablet helps neutralise the acidic pH in the stomach. Thereby, Nodosis Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity.

Nodosis Tablet is an antacid that helps neutralize stomach acid during indigestion and heartburn. Nodosis Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions.

Nodosis Tablet has alkaline pH, which helps in neutralising the acidic pH in the stomach. Thereby, Nodosis Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity and heartburn.

Do not take Nodosis Tablet for longer than two weeks unless prescribed by the doctor. If there is no symptomatic improvement despite using Nodosis Tablet for 1-2 weeks, consult your doctor.

Nodosis Tablet can be taken with other medicines if prescribed by the doctor. However, you are advised to maintain a gap of 2 hours between Nodosis Tablet and other medicines.

Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Nodosis Tablet . Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking, drinking water regularly and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent drying of the mouth.

If you have kidney problems, please consult your doctor before taking Nodosis Tablet as it may possibly affect kidney function.

Nodosis Tablet may cause side effects such as increased thirst, stomach cramps, gas, dry mouth and urinating more than usual. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Store Nodosis Tablet at room temperature. Protect from light. Keep it out of reach of children.

Nodosis Tablet overdose may lead to hyperventilation (over breathing), twitching, very sensitive to light stimuli and high potassium levels in the blood which may cause dizziness or tiredness. Therefore, if you suspect you have taken overdose of Nodosis Tablet , please seek medical help immediately.

Pregnant women are recommended to consult their doctor before using Nodosis Tablet or any antacid, as it may worsen high blood pressure during pregnancy.

Nodosis Tablet should be used for as long as it is advised by your doctor. However, do not use Nodosis Tablet for more than 2 weeks without consulting a doctor. If acid problems persist or worsen after 2 weeks of self-treatment, seek medical help.
