About AF-150 Tablet

AF-150 Tablet is an antifungal medicine that is used to treat infections caused due to fungi and yeast. A fungal infection is caused when a fungus invades and affects any part of the body, including the mouth, throat, oesophagus, lungs, bladder, genital area, and blood.

AF-150 Tablet contains Fluconazole. It works by stopping an enzyme in fungi or yeast that is needed to make their cell membrane. This either kills the fungi or yeast or stops them from growing.

In some cases, AF-150 Tablet can cause side effects like headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach upset, dizziness, stomach pain, and altered food tastes. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to AF-150 Tablet or any of its components. Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems before starting AF-150 Tablet. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting AF-150 Tablet.
