Ampiwal 250mg Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections. It contains Ampicillin which works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. In some cases, this medicine may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Before taking this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Ampiwal 250mg Capsule should not be given with Typhoid vaccine (live), cephalosporin antibiotics such as cefaclor, cefadroxil, cefazolin, cefixime, cefpodoxime, cefprozil, cephalexin; allopurinol/ probenecid (used to treat gout).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking Ampiwal 250mg Capsule as it can cause serious side effects.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Ampiwal 250mg Capsule should not be used in patients with Renal dysfunction, colitis (inflammation of the colon) and hemodialysis.
