Ancolchin Tablet 10's is used to prevent and treat gout attacks and relieve the pain of gout attacks. It is also used to treat familial Mediterranean fever. Additionally, colchicine is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death. It works by stopping the natural processes that cause swelling and other symptoms of gout and familial Mediterranean fever. This medicine may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
