Atd 40 Injection contains drotaverine which is an anti-spasmodic medicine. It is primarily used to treat smooth muscle spasms of the biliary tract, urinary tract, and gastrointestinal tract. It is also used to treat dysmenorrhea (painful periods) and severe spastic pain during labour. It works by relieving contractions associated with smooth muscles of the gall bladder, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract.
