Drug-Drug interactions: If you are taking medicines used to treat HIV/AIDS (indinavir, saquinavir, ritonavir, atazanavir, nelfinavir, amprenavir, fosamprenavir), antifungals (itraconazole, ketoconazole, voriconazole, fluconazole), antibiotics (telithromycin, clarithromycin, erythromycin), antiarrhythmics (procainamide, sotalol, quinidine, amiodarone), anticonvulsant (phenobarbital, primidone, carbamazepine), antiemetics (aprepitant), calcium-channel blockers (diltiazem, verapamil), other medicines to treat erectile dysfunction (tadalafil, vardenafil, sildenafil), or drugs used to treat high blood pressure in the lungs (riociguat), inform your doctor before taking Avanext 200 Tablet.

Drug-Food interactions: Avanext 200 Tablet may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid consumption of grapefruit juice within 24 hours before taking Avanext 200 Tablet.

Drug-Disease interactions: Avoid taking Avanext 200 Tablet if you have a serious heart problem, low blood pressure or high blood pressure not controlled by medicines, a serious kidney or liver problem, loss of vision in one eye due to insufficient supply of blood to your eye, have chest pain (angina) or you get chest pain during sexual intercourse, if you had a stroke or heart attack in the last six months or if certain serious eye problems run in your family such as retinitis pigmentosa (the back wall of the eye known as retina is damaged). Inform your doctor if you have priapism (prolonged erection of the penis lasting 4 hours or more), any bleeding disorder or active peptic ulceration, heart problem, or have a physical condition that affects the penis shape (such as angulation, Peyronie’s disease or cavernosal fibrosis).
