Citcard 250mg Injection belongs to the group of psychostimulant class of medicines. It is used in the treatment of Disturbances of consciousness resulting from brain operation, head injuries, and acute stage of cerebral infarction (stroke) in adults. This medication works by preventing the release of free fatty acids and raising the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin, which stabilizes the cell membranes. Side effects of this medicine include insomnia (difficulty sleeping), nausea, feeling of warmth, loss of appetite, convulsions, and injection site reactions.
