Drotin DS Oral Suspension is used to reduce and relieve smooth muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and gall bladder. It contains Drotaverine, which works by relieving contractions associated with smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, gall bladder, and urinary tract. Thus, it helps in reducing pain. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, and vertigo (a spinning sensation). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
