Emin Tablet 10's is used in the treatment of allergic reactions, insomnia, and travel sickness. It contains Promethazine, which blocks the action of histamine (a chemical causing allergic symptoms) and reduces the allergic reaction. It also acts on the brain directly and produces a calming and anti-nausea effect. It may cause common side effects such as dry mouth, blurred vision, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, tiredness, disorientation, having nightmares, confusion, restlessness, loss of appetite, indigestion, low blood pressure, photosensitivity (redness or rashes on sun-exposed skin) and an uncontrollable urge to move the legs (Restless Legs Syndrome). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
