About Entax-20 Tablet

Entax-20 Tablet is primarily used to treat breast cancer. It is also used to treat infertility caused by a failure in the ovulation (produce and release) process in women. Breast cancer is a type of cancer in the breast cells stimulated by a female sex hormone called estrogen.

Entax-20 Tablet contains Tamoxifen, which blocks the effects of this estrogen, thus helping in treating breast cancer.

The common side effects of Entax-20 Tablet include hot flashes, headache, muscle aches, leg cramps, tiredness, nausea, thinning of hair and numbness or tingling sensation. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.

Do not take or stop this medicine unless the doctor advised you to do so. Entax-20 Tablet is not indicated for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Entax-20 Tablet may make you feel tired; hence, drive when you are alert only. Entax-20 Tablet is not recommended for children below two years of age.

Treats Breast Cancer: Entax-20 Tablet is primarily used to treat breast cancer by blocking the effects of oestrogen (a hormone).
Treats Female Infertility Due to Ovulation Disorders: Entax-20 Tablet is used to stimulate the release of eggs (ovulation) in women experiencing infertility caused by ovulation disorders.

Entax-20 Tablet can be taken with or without food at regular intervals as prescribed by the doctor.
It is usually taken once or twice a day; however, follow the dosage and timing advised by the doctor.
Swallow Entax-20 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.

Abnormal Cessation Of Menstrual Periods

Eat a healthy balanced diet.
Reduce stress with relaxation techniques such as yoga or meditation.
Keep track of your menstrual cycle any irregularities.

Exercise but do not exercise to the extent of overheating.
Hydrate well, eat well (particularly iron and vitamins).

What if I have taken an overdose of Entax-20 Tablet

Take Entax-20 Tablet only as prescribed by the physician. Avoid exceeding the recommended dose as it could lead to an overdose. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, unsteadiness, and uncontrolled shaking of a part of the body. If you experience these symptoms or suspect you have taken an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.
