Flowvoid 25mg Tablet is used to treat urinary retention (holding urine in the bladder) due to surgery, childbirth, or bladder muscle problems. It contains Bethanechol, which helps treat the inability to urinate by acting on the bladder muscles. It contracts the detrusor muscle (a bladder muscle) pushing the urine out of the bladder, thus starting the urination process and emptying it. It may cause side effects such as abdominal discomfort, nausea, diarrhea, urgent desire to urinate, excessive salivation, flushing (reddening of the skin), and sweating. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट 'कोलीनर्जिक एजेंट' नामक दवाओं के वर्ग से संबंधित है, जिसका उपयोग सर्जरी, प्रसव या मूत्राशय की मांसपेशियों की समस्याओं के कारण मूत्र प्रतिधारण (मूत्राशय में मूत्र रोकना) के इलाज के लिए किया जाता है।

फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट में 'बेथेनचोल' होता है, जो मूत्राशय की मांसपेशियों पर कार्य करके पेशाब करने में असमर्थता का इलाज करने में मदद करता है। यह मूत्राशय से मूत्र को बाहर धकेलने वाली डिट्रसर मांसपेशी (मूत्राशय की मांसपेशी) को सिकोड़ता है, जिससे पेशाब की प्रक्रिया शुरू होती है और मूत्राशय खाली हो जाता है।

यदि आपको इसके किसी भी घटक से एलर्जी है तो फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट न लें। फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट लेने से पहले, अपने डॉक्टर को सूचित करें कि क्या आपने हाल ही में सर्जरी करवाई है, पेट या आंतों के अल्सर, मूत्राशय में रुकावट, पेरिटोनिटिस (पेट की परत का संक्रमण), या सूजन आंत्र रोग (पाचन तंत्र की सूजन) हुआ है। उपरोक्त बीमारियों में फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट का उपयोग स्थिति को खराब कर सकता है। फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट हाइपरथायरायडिज्म (ओवरएक्टिव थायरॉयड) वाले रोगियों में एट्रियल फाइब्रिलेशन (हृदय ताल की समस्या) का कारण बन सकता है। फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट अस्थमा या क्रॉनिक ऑब्सट्रक्टिव पल्मोनरी डिसऑर्डर (सीओपीडी) जैसे फेफड़ों के रोगों वाले रोगियों में उपयोग किए जाने पर लक्षणों को बढ़ा सकता है क्योंकि यह वायुमार्ग को संकुचित कर सकता है। हृदय रोग, हाइपोटेंशन (कम रक्तचाप), ब्रैडीकार्डिया (कम हृदय गति), दौरे और पार्किंसंस रोग वाले रोगियों में फ्लोवॉइड 25एमजी टैबलेट का उपयोग न करें। शराब का सेवन न करें क्योंकि इससे चक्कर आ सकते हैं। अगर आप गर्भवती हैं या स्तनपान करा रही हैं तो अपने डॉक्टर को सूचित करें। इस दवा से चक्कर आने से बचने के लिए, बैठे या लेटे हुए स्थान से धीरे-धीरे खड़े हो जाएँ।
