Glycipresin 1 mg Injection 10 ml is used to treat Bleeding oesophageal varices. It contains Terlipressin, a synthetic pituitary hormone that breaks down in the body to release a substance called lysine vasopressin that is used to stop bleeding from leaking varicose veins in the food pipe. It works by narrowing the affected blood vessels and restricting their flow. Thus, it helps to control bleeding.
