GLZ Total Tablet is used to treat Type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing the insulin released by the pancreas, lowers glucose production in the liver, delays glucose absorption from the intestines and increases the body's response to insulin. It may cause side effects such as nausea, taste change, weight gain, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach ache, and respiratory infection. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

GLZ Total Tablet 10's का उपयोग टाइप 2 मधुमेह के इलाज के लिए किया जाता है। टाइप 2 मधुमेह एक पुरानी या आजीवन स्थिति है जो आपके शरीर द्वारा ग्लूकोज को संसाधित करने के तरीके को प्रभावित करती है। टाइप 2 मधुमेह वाले लोग या तो पर्याप्त इंसुलिन का उत्पादन नहीं करते हैं या यदि इंसुलिन का उत्पादन होता भी है, तो यह शरीर में अपना कार्य करने में असमर्थ होता है (इंसुलिन प्रतिरोध)। इससे रक्त में ग्लूकोज का स्तर बढ़ जाता है और बार-बार पेशाब आना, प्यास बढ़ना और भूख बढ़ना जैसे लक्षण शुरू हो जाते हैं। 

GLZ Total Tablet 10's में ग्लिक्लेज़ाइड, मेटफॉर्मिन और पियोग्लिटाज़ोन होता है। ग्लिक्लेज़ाइड अग्न्याशय द्वारा जारी इंसुलिन को बढ़ाकर काम करता है। मेटफॉर्मिन लीवर में ग्लूकोज उत्पादन को कम करके, आंतों से ग्लूकोज अवशोषण में देरी करके और इंसुलिन के प्रति शरीर की प्रतिक्रिया को बढ़ाकर काम करता है। पियोग्लिटाज़ोन लीवर द्वारा जारी ग्लूकोज की मात्रा को कम करके और मांसपेशियों और वसा के ऊतकों की इंसुलिन प्रभावों के प्रति संवेदनशीलता में सुधार करके काम करता है।
