Mahacef-XL 200 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ears, nose, throat, chest, and lungs. This medicine contains dicloxacillin, cefixime and lactic acid bacillus which works by inhibiting the protein synthesis of the bacterial cell and thereby helps fight infection-causing bacteria. This medicine is not effective for treating viral infections. Common side effects include vomiting, nausea, dizziness, diarrhoea, stomach pain, indigestion, gas, and headache.
