Myelostem 50 Injection is used to treat Multiple myeloma, advanced cancer of the ovaries, childhood neuroblastoma (cancer of the nervous system), malignant melanoma (skin cancer) and soft tissue sarcoma. It contains Melphalan, which reduces the number of abnormal cells your body makes. Thus, it treats cancer efficiently. The most common adverse reactions observed in patients treated with this medicine are neutrophil count decreased, white blood cell count decreased, platelet count decreased, lymphocyte count decreased, diarrhoea, fatigue, anaemia, nausea, vomiting and hypokalemia.
