Ornida Tablet is used to treat infections caused by protozoans and bacteria. It is used to treat amoebiasis, chlamydiosis, giardia infection, trichomonas infection, vaginal, urinary tract, intestinal and post-operative infections. It contains Ornidazole, which works by damaging the DNA of the infection-causing agent and inhibiting its growth. Thereby, it treats infections. In some cases, it may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, and taste disturbances. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
