R-Cinex 600 Tablet is used to treat and prevent tuberculosis. It contains Rifampicin, and Isoniazid, which works by killing the bacteria causing TB (tuberculosis). In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as drowsiness, dizziness, headache, weakness, muscle pain, heartburn, diarrhoea, gas, and numbness or tingling sensation. Tuberculosis is highly treatable. The standard treatment for active TB involves a combination of four antibiotics: Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, and Ethambutol. Typically, you will take all four daily for the first 2 months, followed by just Isoniazid and Rifampicin for another 4 months, totalling a 6-month course. It is absolutely critical that you take these medications exactly as prescribed every single day, even after you start feeling better. Stopping early or skipping doses can cause the TB bacteria to become drug-resistant, which is much more difficult to treat. Please follow your prescribing doctor's specific guidance and dosing schedule closely.

Drug-Drug Interactions: R-Cinex 600 Tablet may interact with anti-HIV (saquinavir, ritonavir), pain killer (acetaminophen, hydrocodone), anti-depressant (duloxetine, bupropion), calcium channel blocker (diltiazem), anti-TB (ethambutol, pyrazinamide), and vitamins (ergocalciferol, cholecalciferol).

Drug-Food Interactions: Do not consume alcohol while taking R-Cinex 600 Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness and liver damage.
