Selsi-TV Suspension is used to treat fungal skin infections, such as seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) and tinea versicolor (a small patch of discoloured skin). It contains Clotrimazole and Selenium sulfide, which work by killing fungi and help to relieve itching and flaking of the scalp and remove the dry, scaly particles. Also, it reduces skin damage due to infection by decreasing flaking or scaling of the skin, which helps in new skin formation. Thus, it helps to treat various fungal skin infections and dandruff on the scalp. It may cause common side effects like itching, dryness, redness, swelling, and burning sensation at the application site.
