• Topical antibiotics (Benzoyl peroxide)
  • Potential effect: May reduce the effectiveness and cause increased skin irritation and dryness.
• Drugs used to treat acne (Isotretinoin)
  • Potential effect: May cause increased skin irritation, redness, and dryness.
• Antiseptics (Resorcinol)
  • Potential effect: May cause increased skin irritation and sensitivity.
• Drugs used for exfoliation of the skin’s outer layer (Salicylic acid, Sulfur)
  • Potential effect: May cause increased skin peeling, irritation, or dryness.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Skinshine Cream should be avoided or used with caution in people with:

• Skin conditions - e.g., rosacea (red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne (pimples), perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), genital itching, chickenpox, shingles (a viral infection causing a painful rash), and eczema (itchy, swelling of the skin)
• Sulfite allergy
• Asthma (a lifelong inflammatory lung disease)
• Diabetes (high blood sugar)
