Vepan CV 500 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat bacterial infections. It contains Cefadroxil and Clavulanic acid, which kill the infection-causing bacteria. In some cases, this medicine may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Before taking this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.

How does the drug interact with Vepan CV 500 mg Tablet:
Co-administration of Vepan CV 500 mg Tablet with Cholera, live attenuated may reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine.

How to manage the interaction:
Talk to your doctor before receiving the Cholera vaccine if you are currently being treated with Vepan CV 500 mg Tablet or have been treated within the last 14 days. To ensure adequate vaccine response, you should not receive cholera vaccine until at least 14 days after you complete your antibiotic therapy. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.

How does the drug interact with Vepan CV 500 mg Tablet:
Co-administration of Vepan CV 500 mg Tablet with BCG vaccine may reduce the anti-tumor activity of BCG in the bladder.

If you are currently being treated with Vepan CV 500 mg Tablet, you should talk to a doctor before receiving BCG. You should not receive the BCG vaccine until after you complete your antibiotic therapy to ensure an adequate response to your treatment. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
